WEBSITE REDESIGN

ROLE

UX & UI Design, Responsive Web

CONTEXT

Modernizing a complex regulatory platform

YEAR

2020

Challenge

The Ordre des Architectes du Québec (OAQ), the professional body regulating architecture practice in Québec, needed a complete overhaul of its digital presence.

Over time, the website had become fragmented, difficult to navigate, and challenging to maintain due to heavy content volume and inconsistent page structures.

The goal was to transform a legacy institutional website into a scalable, modern digital platform built for clarity, usability, and long-term growth.

What I Led:

  • Platform-wide UX restructuring and navigation system

  • Modular page templates for large-scale content publishing

  • Responsive UI system and reusable components

  • Visual modernization while preserving institutional credibility

The Approach

Instead of redesigning isolated pages, I designed a structured content system:

  • Clear hierarchy across institutional, professional, and public sections

  • Template-based layouts for consistent content presentation

  • Strong typographic and spacing systems for dense information

  • Mobile-first responsiveness for high-traffic areas

This turned a content-heavy website into a future-proof digital platform that supports complex regulatory content while remaining usable, scalable, and visually cohesive.
